This movie was what the sci-fi world needed to help set a mark in the entertainment industry. Great freaking moving. I was amazed by the storyline. To this day a lot of people still don't exactly know what the Matrix is. Nor do they fully comprehend the term "Unplugged". As the story behind the movie goes, the Matrix is a computer program plugged into your mind. In the real world humans are actually "asleep" being kept in an isolated container, plugged into the Matrix, while the computers are using these humans as a source of energy. Humans have been turned into batteries so that the machines can survive off their energy. While asleep, the Matrix is plugged into each human to make them think and feel like they are living in the real world. It's all just a dream of what reality used to be. The Matrix is that dream, the program that makes you feel like you are walking, talking, eating an breathing. In order to walk the floors of the real world, you must first "unplug" from the Matrix. When you unplug you separate yourself from the program and wake up from the "dream". Having never used any part of your body, it will feel as if you were just born. Won't be able to walk because the legs were never used before. So you get the concept now. No confusion on the topic. And of course, the "One" which is Neo, is supposed to save the world. Great movie, amazing storyline, everything and more for a sci-fi flick. I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

MOVIE REVIEW: KNOCKED UP

STARRING: SETH ROGEN, KATHERINE HEIGL, PAUL RUDD

In my eyes this is the greatest comedy of all time. Seth Rogan is a comical genius. I watched this movie about fifteen times and I will probably watch it again. Seth plays as an unemployed stoner who has dreams of starting an interesting adult website. He accidentally impregnates a hot looking entertainment reporter, and that's when his life takes a turn into a different direction. This movie has it all, laughter and tears. It's not just a stoner movie. There is a message behind this movie and it's a big reality check to a lot of people that don't know the consequences of unplanned pregnancy. If your a movie collector, this one definitely belongs in your collection. I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

MOVIE REVIEW: EQUILIBRIUM

STARRING: CHRISTIAN BALE, TAYE DIGGS

If you have never heard of Equilibrium, then your missing out on one of the sickest movies ever made. Number 2 on my list. This was actually the first movie that introduced me to Christian Bale. Ever since then I wont turn down a Bale movie. Equilibrium is like a martial arts movie, except with guns. It's so crazy from the action and the story line. Never seen anything like this before. Some people compare it to The Matrix, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. Christian Bale plays as an unbeatable super cop in the future. He acquired his skills from training in a futuristic martial arts type of academy. His job is to kill anyone who commits the crime of "feeling", in a society where "feeling" is punishable by death. I don't want to give away the entire movie, but from what I've already told you, it should be enough to make you interested. For now it's still my second favorite movie of all time. I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

WELCOME TO GREATEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME

This blog is dedicated to all the hardcore movies buffs out there. I'm pretty sure there are many movies out there that I haven't seen, so I need you, the reader, to give me your top ten favorite movies list. Fight Club has been my favorite movie for quite some time. It still holds the crown, but i feel there might be something better out there. Luckily when I first watched Fight Club, nobody spoiled it for me. I was in complete shock, while laughing at the same time. Ever since I've seen that movie I became a big Brad Pitt, and Edward Norton fan. I looked for all the movies they were each in, and pretty much watched them all. All were great movies. Norton did an incredible job in that new Hulk movie. Brad Pitt has been on a role since I first seen Kalifornia. And let me not forget 12 Monkeys, which was my second favorite Brad Pitt movie. Two amazing actors thrown together in one movie turned out to be a huge success. Norton, in my opinion, should have been on the Oceans Eleven series. But too late now right. I'm hoping that one day these two great actors will come together again and create another cult classic.
